Hey, all! Just a quick update on what's been going on.

-School's well underway, and I love it! I'm taking the level 1 firefighting class at Sinclair, and a fire investigation class (which is really boring). The level 1 class is so much fun though! The majority (19 of the 26 classes) of it is on the training ground, learning different tasks and how to go about them in the right manner. I love it & look forward to (Lord willing) joining a department here soon.

-Work has been good. It keeps me extremely busy, but I think I'm starting to manage my time a little better. I made it through inventory earlier this month; now we're just starting reviews, so hopefully I can get a little raise.

-The spiritual life's been good. I've had my speed bumps & all, but God's outstretched arms have caught me time after time. His grace & love is everlasting!

-Winter Jam concert in Columbus lastnight was sweet! Jeremy Camp, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sanctus Real {sp?}, Hawk Nelson, Newsong, and Brit Nicole. The words of God was spread! I'm really looking forward to the Kutless concert coming up here in a couple of weeks! And also the XC homecoming - I think it'll be fun.

But I got some studying to do. So I will leave you all with this message that I read on a t-shirt lastnight:

"Live for the Lord now; and live with the Lord later"

I'm thankful for EVERYTHING - whether good or bad, and anything inbetween. Good for obvious reasons, and bad for the fact that we learn lessons & are strengthened by them.

So thank you, Lord! And thank you, to all of you who read this... may the Lord bless you through the good & the bad times!

Quick... story time!!!

--Once upon a time, there was this little baby wolverine who didn't know too much about life. As he was wandering through the forrest, he came upon a mighty tree & stopped to look at it. Just then did he come to realize that something was falling from the sky on him. He looked up in a sense of shock. The object ended up smashing directly on top of the helpless wolverine. Come to find out, this little object was nothing less than a buckeye. Easy to see how a buckeye could kill such a monsterous animal.

GO BUCKS!!!

Honestly, though, I don't think it'll be that much of a blowout as some think. I'm saying 35-24.

And today is just gona be a good day in all. Worked 5 hours this morning already, and Christmas music was on! I love Christmas music. Who agrees? This time of year is so joyous. *Ahh*

Hello, everyone.

I was gona tell a detailed story of last weekend's trip to Illinois with the guys (Caleb, Micah, Nate, Kyle, and pastor Rick), but I think I'm just gona highlight all the details:

- The drive over was kinda dull. I think I slept a ways, which was really pretty nice.

-We get to the hotel, and are met by a slew (<is that how you spell that?) of drunk Buckeye fans. It was amusing, yet kinda sad.

-Stay in the hotel room all night: Played some football (lol), watched tv & Invincible (real good movie!). Plus, as usual, we have all our inside jokes (LoL!).

-We sleep in, find a restraunt, then go to the game.

-We get to the game, and it's "perfect" football weather! About 35 degrees with a nice wind. So what do Kyle & I do?!

Yea, that's right. We take off our shirts, and paint ourselves (woot woot!), LoL. It made it an AMAZING experience. Very amusing! Hundreds of comments (seriously!), people taking random pictures of us, people asking to get their pictures with us... it was like we were celebrities! LoL.

On top of all that, we had really had pretty good seats at the corner of the end zone were the Illini came out, in the 1st row! (Really 6th row, but the first 5 rows were marked off for no one to sit in). So we were right there on top of the game & all.

--Other funny stories:

-The drunk girl (Illinois fan) hitting on me - I'm sitting there, shaking my legs to keep blood flowing, ok? She wraps her arms around me & says "I would hold you to keep you warm... but, I don't wanna mess up your paint". I kinda laughed & smiled in a freaked out sorta way. LoL.

-Caleb making Justin Zwick's day. LoL!

-And Nate ruining Ron Zook's day. LoL!

--I had an amazing time, and hope for the same next year.
